We are buying these companies for future earnings and future price appreciation.    Same things with utilities.  If you are looking for a beaten up, very healthy sector of the economy, look at utlities.   Fortis is at record low levels and last I checked, electricty consumption is off the charts.   

DIV will have its' day but you must be patient.
