Union leaders Andean district of Canaris, Lambayeque region, reached the regional government headquarters to demand the president Humberto Acuña executing works in this town, considered extremely poor.
 
"We call for the execution of works to favor the sector agriculture, education, farming, transportation and handicrafts. We feel abandoned by the regional government and the state, "the president of the Front for the Defense of Canaris, Cesar Huaman Lucero.
 
He said that constantly have asked the respective regional authorities support, but so far not served.
 
"We knocked on doors, but we always say it's not the president. We are tired so today we have over 30 Cañaris leaders in search of a solution, "he said.
 
The leader said that 15,000 residents feel forgotten and expect to be given due attention, otherwise undertake massive protests.
