RE:Questions for Jim Payne only.. other shareloders dont read. The original units used in the early pilot programs were poorly designed.
Vehicles parked overnight in the winter would freeze and take up to 4 hours to thaw out. So ng for school buses, city vehicles etc. I suggested years ago that they incorporate a common 120 v block or space heater to avoid the problem. When I asked the question on a live Q&A, Jim denied that there were was a freezing issue but couldn't explain why they didn't freeze, when clearly they did. He hummed and hawed and avoided answering with a clear explanation.
Early models were housed in a plastic Pelican case and they literally shook themselves to destruction.
I think that DYA didn't and doesn't have the right CEO in place to catapult the company to success. After more than 20 years, I think the company would be well served if the BoD replaced him.
Daker was a great success but I don't think DYA did enough to get the story out. Days after the announcement of Dakar, I suggested that DYA assign a reporter, or piggy back on a freelance reporter who would post daily stories about the Hole Shot/Dynacert story on YouTube or a Podcast. I also suggested that they publish the computer readouts of the unit in action, or at least publish the unit's report after each race day. Fuel savings and exhaust emissions readouts.
Jamie McDonald, a franchisee and person involved with reaching out to the governments agreed with me, but nothing happened.
Years ago Jim predicted that DYA would become a Fortune 500 company. Still waiting.
Cipher Neutron gives me hope.
Leadership is a problem with this company.
