Assessment

It's worth noting that this was from 27 Oct. Since then, the SP has fallen 14% which makes it really cheap. GLTA

Can you discuss the valuation ratios for ECN and whether you think it is fairly valued or cheap and why?

ECN trades at 10X earnings and about 8X last year's cash flow (though it has sold assets and go-forward cash flow will be different). We would consider this cheap, considering the solid management team and how well it has delivered shareholder value since its spin off. The stock is down this year, but paid a $7.50 special dividend in 2021. (5iResearch)

What still confounds me is why this stock dropped like a rock since the Fed announced the 75 basis point rate hike but a company like T.GSY has moved up.  Wouldn't these two companies be similarly affected by the rate hikes? It makes no sense they would go in opposite directions.
