For decades, thousands of doses of any medicine will be thrown out if the horseshoe crab detection says that this batch is tainted with endotoxin.
I mean just the translocation from our gut and intestines can be immense.
Blood pressure gets drastically low,
the gut permeability loses pressure and can't keep back all that nastiness,
it starts spilling into our abdominal cavity,
thereby into our bloodstream,
overwhelms the immune system,
and multiple organs start to just shut down.
Our blood pressure is what keeps the monster in the cage.
