Dr.Kellum and Dr. Ronco at 39th Vicenza w/ Spectral's EAA...

Was my favorite moment of the week.  Actually seeing and hearing one of our country's / globe's top sepsis experts speak to the importance of the EAA's utility was extremely exciting.  We have full world wide rights to this ~30 min diagnostic.  It is the gold standard and only reliable measurement for endotoxin in whole blood.  Listening to Dr. Kellum confirms what I have believed for a long time.  Endotoxin is a clear and potent signal in critical care management.  The new statistics being shared by Dr. Kellum should excite any knowledgeable invester.  The facts tell us we are getting to patients too late in their escalation of endotoxemia.  We know .28 is normal and .4 to .6 is escalated and > .6 is the danger zone.  Kellum now saying that >70% of patients with sepsis and high endotoxin levels are culture negative.  Anti-biotics not the solution, well timed removal of endotoxin with the PMX filter a viable solution were anti-biotics are futile. Earlier and more frequent use of the EAA will allow for earlier and more frequent effective use of the PMX filter.  The EAA is finally allowing sepsis to be treated in a "personalized medicine" fashion as are current cancer treatments.  One of the planet's greatest unmet needs is on the verge of having a sizeable amount of the need serviced by a personalized or "theranostic" approach.

Spectral has the diagnostic EAA ( FDA approved ) + the PMX filter ( in a FDA phase 3B confirmatory trial with 2:1 application in favor of the PMX ) and the FDA approved SAMI pump to deliver the filtration.  Add the fact that our phase 3 Euphrates HAS ALREADY delivered 40% of the data towards final approval in the phase 3B TIGRIS data-pack and we have an interesting opportunity.

Use the EAA to A) screen B) initiate or rule-out PMX filtration C) monitor EAA levels to determine duration of treatment which may require more than 2 filters and of course more EAA tests D) decide on termination of PMX filtration

Bear in mind, we own the global rights to the EAA, it was our 20 year CEO and current board memeber's co-investion with a colleague from the UHN network ( aka - Toronto General H )  The EAA is a "razor / razor blade" model.  Dr. Ronco is using the EAA every 6 hours to monitor, the $100 -$200 tests add up fast and the margins are more than healthy.  The ever increasing knowledge of endotoxin and gut dysbiosis ( spell , aka - "leaky gut" ) is setting up nicely for our ability to triage in addition to acting as the companion diagnostic in our very advanced phase 3B confirmatory TIGRIS trial.  The next time I play the You-tube 15 minute video, watch and listen closely.  Two of the planet's top KOL's in one of the world's largest unmet needs in medicine are very high on the FDA approved EAA diagnostic.  Join the club, educated SDI/EDT shareholders have been banking on it's utility for decades.

ps - calling names using foul language or socially unacceptable terms and phrases are signs of a weak, unethical and misguided character.  I'm here to share facts and meaningful discussion with other common shareholders.  Creating character after character to beahve as the installed group here acts is both rude and shameful. Over the years I have talked to so many health care professionals about "sepsis".  I would say that most of my discussions were with nurses.  I've asked about "sepsis" and the answers were always so vague and the discussion usually led to the "it is so hard to know" statement. The huge increase in gut dysbiosis / leaky gut research and of course growing ...more

I once knew a fellow who was an accountant of some sort who was also incredibly leveraged in a penny stock. Bet the marital home, so to speak. Unfortunately, that stock didn't amount to much. I'm not sure what happened to the guy but I remember him saying that an accountant who declares bankruptcy also risks his/her accounting designation as well. Someone on here once said that STT/Pepe ...more

Sad story. If this guy is really a Sunlife advisor, then he could be subject to client complaints, which could potentially result in loss of designation. But I dont think Sunlife advisors are permitted to advise on individual stocks (mutual funds only). So, if he did recommend EDT to any of his clients it would have been unofficial, not that that could not also result in complaints. He's been ...more

More along the lines of if you can't manage your own finances as a CFP, it is unethical to be giving professional financial advise to others. Hence the loss of designation. I can't imagine a CFP doling out penny stock tips and I don't claim STT/Pepe has done that. Here's one of my fav vid clips on betting on margin : - ) Enjoy! https://youtu.be/j4SRsGn14PI

These guys aren't on margin. They're paid to be here by someone. Know any rational/sane human being that would post on one bullboard 10 times a day for 10-15 years? 400 a month 20 bullboards and you got one happy Vancouver sherry drinker.
