RE:RE:Today's Conspiracy Theory

RE:RE:Today's Conspiracy TheoryJust to make it completely clear to everyone, I have absolutely no information ,or anything else, that would make me believe Barrick is planning so do anything with EDV.  Now if you have rushed out and bought some EDV because of what I said,  I think you wont be sorry.  Not because Barrick is knocking at the door, but because EDV is a fine company.
I just did the theory because it would explain what appears to be someone, thing? , driving EDV share price down.

The hostile takeover I was quite involved with awhile ago, was Core Gold.  A tiny company that no one would have any reason to have heard of.  A group of shareholders fought it for 2 years.  Strangely, a great deal of the fight took place here on Stockhouse, with the Board of Directors of Core, who had been bribed by the company trying to make the steal,
fighting it out with us on this Forum.  The CFO, a strange fellow to be sure, threatened to sue me for liable for things I was saying here.  We all hoped he would as it would have been a very interesting court case.
In the end  they got the 66 2/3 votes , but then it turned out that the BC Supreme Court had to approve the deal, Core was a BC registered company, and the judge said it stank too much and wouldn't allow it.  The CEO of Core was against it and funding the lawyers.
A very long and pretty weird story.  Too long for here, tho I found out then that Stockhouse has no limit on how many words one wants to write.
And we also found out that securities regulation  in Canada pretty much doesn't exist.
