New LFP Battery Cell

Electrovaya has a new LFP (Lithium Ferite Phosphate) battery cell.   Electrovaya has always said they are not limited to one type of cell that what they had was a platform.  If a customer wanted a different cell they could make it.  Well now page 7 of the latest Presentation says they have an LFP cell.  They say "Ultra Long Cycle Life", "High Power", "Superior Safety" and "Lower Cost".  So who is the customer?  Is it the automotive customer in the wings??  Is it the BESS OEM working on placing an order??  Battery Day should be very interesting!!

So,  WHO is the new customer for the LFP battery?  I am thinking it is ZEV Clean Power.  Electrovaya was working with them 3 or 4 yrs ago but they went with another supplier.  Now on the latest presentation Pg 11 the bus shown is ZEV Clean Power.   So if they came back it could be because Electrovaya has a new lower cost battery cell?  Or they could have had a ...more
