Those lazy pot smoking "surf's up dude" 45 year olds left in California, are only concerned about legal weed and living off the gov't. Perhaps in a few years, the riff-raff of California could become automatic citizens of Can-Er-DUH. The transition would definitely be seamless... Frankly...the greatest trend in terms of reducing the growth in fossil fuel use in California is the fact that the population growth is close to zero as more and more people are leaving California...by way of example...last year...about 90,000 people left California and moved to Texas...a 36% increase from the previous year and the trend is for more and more people to leave California..."

Fiddy, I know the pain of holding a losing stock, but sometimes you just have to admit that you were wrong, take your loss, and get into something else. I was in that position in the spring when I was heavy into EXE. Instead of kidding myself that things were going to turn around with the stock, I admitted that I had made a mistake and took a $90K loss. It wasn't easy to do. However, I've made that up and more since with other stocks (mostly ALA) and now I have a realized gain of over $50K for the year. I'm not saying that there is no hope for ENB. The dividend yield certainly has me taking a look at it, but I'm afraid that even though Justin Trudeau walked back his remarks of January 2017 of phasing out the oil sands, that is exactly what will be happening in the not too distant future and ENB will take a whack. Even buying it now for a trade would be like walking through a mine field. You never know if or when you're leg will be blown off.

Regarding Gavin Newsom, I just booked a flight to California in November. I'll say hello to him for you.
