Further to Marner's points...Went through the 13F and the vale of the equity holdings when added together is roughly 229B, not 220B like the article suggests. I think this makes Marner's previous points even stronger. The 10Q/13F filings were for the period ended 09/30, and seeing as Marner's count of ~500M shares is up to today, if it was ENB a much smaller position would have been reported in that period compared to what exists today.
Some quick math...
245B less 229B is roughly 16B in undisclosed equity holdings. Let's assume that 6B of japanese investment brings that down to 10B... or roughly 13B CAD... things start to seem more in line when you think of it that way imo.
We could all be conspiracy theorists... but I think we may be onto something here!
