RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Losing to China - Real Time with Bill MaherSilkos Canada had lockdowns and USA did not. USA has almost 3 times the death rate per capita that Canada has. The Canadian governmant paid its citizens to stay home and told them to stay home and that has made all the difference.
Death rate per capaita is a measurable quantity and if you don't agree I don't care about your opinion. Quite frankly, I never have. Go skiiing.
Go Enbridge! ;-)

Vaccination rate can be measured properly. We are where we are and numbers don't lie. I am sure JT is not happy about it. He is not alone.
Death rate has to do with so many things. It's the rate of underlying health problems and special conditions in population, which is not reported anywhere. It's the individual health, genetic predispositions and so many other factors that can influence and ultimatelly determine if one can fight successfull the virus. To say that it's the fed policy that lead to the low death rate cap ... I would say it's not relevant. There were many mistakes made but I am convinced that no matter what party would have been in charge during this pandemic it would have been a mess.
I don't think it's the fed gov merit that the death rate is where it is. Once the virus enters the population no matter what the gov do ... they can slow it down, but its innevitable to spread. If you think they did a great job, I would argue that we should not have had any variants in the country. Then again it's impossible to stop the virus once it enters the population.
There is
not one original/drastic measure that Canada took that is not found in other contries policy book that have a higher death rate. If you don't agree, please name what is so unique about Canada's policy.

Oh, and on the vaccine front, they reported on the news last night we've now dropped to 55th in the world for vaccinating our population. Pretty good eh ? Can-Er-DUH, Can-Er-DUH !!!!
