WHO made a statement that the rates are going up BECAUSE of vaccine shortages. My wife and I are questioning why we need the second Pfizzer shot. After the first we are 85% the 2nd jab takes us to 95% to 97% with a 94% protection of us spreading to others which is good and likely an excellant reason to get the second jab. One must remember though that some vaccines that work well are 40 to 60% effective one such being measles vaccine.
We are to get second dose on Sunday but the vaccine has not yet arrived but they expect it in the next day or two. Getting ready for the 4 hour wait which is fine.
