I hope the vaccinations will help, pharma sector will do the best to scare us and increase their retiurns as much as possible. There is zero interest for $$$ to leave Canada. The government wants to spend your $$$ at your local Canadian Tire and not at Target. Yup, watch nothing but CBS, buy at Canadian Tire, don't you dare to even think about crossing any border, while pretending you are open minded and free. And if you decide to go out of country make sure you fly Air Canada that f#cked up its clients and blackmailed the gov after... what a disgrace!

Personal note: I recall as a child that my family could not travel overseas due to politics of the time. How is this different? We are a nation of immigrants, we all come from somewhere. My folks are gone, but I can't stop asking myself what if my parents would have been sick or needed my help? I would have said fudge these COVID rules ... I would have swam all across the ocean to help my parents or see them a last time. So easy to judge, so fast to come to conclusions. Fact is that there are so many families suffering right now ... depression at the highest among eldery population, kids show social, emotional, and academic distress. This virus cannot be stopped and we have to LIVE AND MAKE THE BEST WE CAN FOR US AND OUR FAMILIES, we can't all live in a bunker like Fiddy and be happy while sad. You can get out of the house and be responsible.
To those that are asking for curfews and more restrictions, I have to say you have no idea what freedom and lack of freedom is - you take freedom for granted. It's important not to let your guard down, lack of freedom is nothing but a form of control.
