I hope they don't crash it into Line 5. On an off topic note (rolling eyes) this high share price virtually insures that the 20k window man and his merry band of divy trading compadres won't be returning anytime soon as they have missed their window and are now outsdie looking in. Good riddens DBs! Go Enbridge!  ;-)

Yes SIr, good riddance indeed.  I just hope 20 K window man doesn't start blabbing again about how much money he made on a fictional Tesla trade, please spare us all !! Ha, it is never until I read your responses that I realize what a lousy speller I am. Hey, do not underestimate the 20k window man's ability to make up a BS story to make his sht deal turn into shineola. There was already one divy trader that sold and said he popped his earnings into PPL which was languishing and then added he also put it into TRP afterwards.  Uh-huh.  I'm not ...more

Here's an interesting total returns table of the 4 midstreamers that my wife & I own. Our current rating is #1 TRP & PPL, #2 ENB, #3 KEY. I have total confidence in the first 3 but am not too sure on KEY. To top it off for KEY, the PPL/KKR deal hurts their big KAPS project as KKR is selling out of it. Here's the table ...more

Thanks Sarge.  It looks like ENB has some catching up to do this year.  Being diversified  over all four stocks would guarantee that you don't miss out on any excellent deals like the one PPL just pulled off.  I have heard murmurs of PPL buying out KEY so it may be well worth keeping for the premium that may come with it.   GLTY

That's an interesitng comment on a KEY take-over. I had sort of been thinking it might be time for BIP to do another one as they are so flush with cash even after IPL.  guess it means a KEY take-over may be in play from a couple spots. My wife and I definitely like having a few holdings in each of our key sectors - banks, utilities, midstream, telcos, and REITs. It sure does smooth ...more

Well BIP could certainly use the extra product for their polypropylene plant.  I'm not how many people know this but polypropylene converts back to propane easier and cheaper than it was made from propane in the first palce.  Shipping it by rail cross country and shipping it to Europe would be safe and easy.  I bet IPL is making deals with energy starved European nations as we ...more

Just to add to my Mar 3 post, here's the YTD total return% from Mar 3 and Mar 25. As I was recommending at the time (see copy of my post below), it would be wise for certain investors to diversify a little on the midstream front..  I've always found that it is better to just do what you plan on doing and not try and time it. Here's the new table.  ...more

Yes and they very well may have missed their window again.  Painted it black so to speak. We shall see as historically there is a drop in November but historically there hasn't been an NCIB in place either so.....who knows? Go Enbridge! ;-)
