the SalingStone letter to TRQ's BOD, I'm convinced now that my $2.50+ price on ETG shares needs to be doubled before I sell my boat load!!! UNKLAL

Well, in the ETG case it's not likely to be such an open bid, we may get swept up in a lock-up deal negotiated by SSL, management and Rio/TRQ, in which case unless there is a drag-out proxy battle, the price will be beyond our control. On valuation, the Edison Report said $3.60 or so.  There is still a Mongolian haircut to be negotiated,    but the discount rate used by Edison ...more

My assumption is there could be a lot of mineralization not yet discovered and ETG has left further exploration for a couple of reasons  1 -  The more they discover the more difficult it will be to deal with the government. The government will want a bigger piece of the pie. 2-  The cost of drilling.  Not cheap over there.  I'm thinking #1 above is more likely because ...more

The targets may have changed with circumstance.  Once upon a time deep drilling was in order, but now cheaper RC drilling might answer. With all the capex spent on Hugo North, setting up for both Lifts 1 and 2, and Heruga waiting in the wings, the bar is set very high for further deep copper mineralization to barge into the production schedule.   Possibly a deep porphyry at Shivee ...more
