Dividend

DividendI bought this as a investment back in the late 1980's when it was paying $0.09 Canadian for the dividend.  It looked like a good buy then'; strong dividend yield (9%) and the price was rising.  Good choice on both fronts.  However, since then we have witnessed this decline in value with erosion of the dividend ($0.09 to 0.08 then 0.06, and so on) now at $0.0225.  With the decline the management has always given excuses for the decline.  I still hold a few shares, but don't trust this fund will be a good long term hold for div. payout. Lost faith in management years ago.
