Hydrostatic Pressure Calculation

Btw, For anybody doing hydrostatic pressure calcs following up on my comments about Joe and Jethro the API formula is: Hydrostatic pressure, psi = 0.052 x Mud Weight, lbm/gal x True Vertical Depth, ft

Note that's US gallon. Normally pressured formations are the hydroststic head of water or 8.33 pounds per US gallon.
