Venezuela

VenezuelaI wonder if fec will venture into Venezuela. They already have a good working relationship with Argentinian company Tecpetrol in Colombia. Tecpetrol has operations in Venezuela on prime oil producing acreage in Campo Rosario and Las Palmas. They could direct some fcf into Venezuela. Weren't some of the bosses with Pacific Rubiales former top managers of Venezuela's national oil company PDVSA? Anyway if things play out the way that I think they will then fec is a very strong buy in my opinion. Don't know about cgx. I can't figure out what's happening there. I thought as Bluefin was approaching TD that bid interest on cgx would spike up. I got it wrong again. Anyway Chevron alone could increase production in Venezuela by 200,000 bbl/day in short order just from their Campo Boscan field just north of Tecpetrol's stuff. Something to keep an eye on: https://oilprice.com/Latest-Energy-News/World-News/Venezuela-Could-Boost-Oil-Production-By-25-After-US-Eases-Sanctions.html
