RE:RE:RE:Not sure ….what’s up ..WCP, I know very little about wireline logs, not even wireline logging 101 and mostly the caliper log in order to calculate hole, annular volumes. Following this play I've learned more. I find that these days they have magnetic resonance logs that tells them a lot about porosity, permeability and spectroscopy logs which analyzes pore fluid composition and other properties.
So a full suite of logs should tell them a lot. When integrated with cuttings samples, core samples and seismic, a pretty good idea of near borehole charactertistics, properties, lithology etc should be able to be developed.
As I mentioned, I sold oyl back in early Sept 2021 just after Kawa spud because I did not like the well being designated "tight hole". It really bothered me because there was no competitive reason to do it. The JV already had the Corentyne license. No competitor could outbid them for the license by stealing Kawa well info. Why the secrecy which continues to this day? Weird!
