Looking at the financials ....she seem solid ....20 % plus roi ....if the Guyana assets are just dumped at cost to Exxon  or anyone that can use the tax pool.    Frontera becomes a debt free company ....broken up the port and tank farm ....the shares value would be about $28 ....so I do not see what the panic today was all about ...can anyone explain ?

Yeah I'll take a stab at an explanation. They said that more wells will need to be drilled in order to determine the commercialability of the field. So more money will need to be spent. By whom? Your right, the data collected downhole today is incredibly powerful. When combined with core/chip cuttings/seismic, one can do some pretty amazing things. No doubt retired geologists working 20yrs ago, let alone 50-70yrs, would be incredibly jealous of the technical capabilities available today.  Your also right, the secret nature around Kawa, and now Wei, and IMO misleading/goofy press

I agree Frank, those who traded CGX for FEC in the past are in far better shape today and likely in the future. About half of the lost market cap of FEC today was the lost value of FEC's 77% ownership of CGX shares which are down about 47% in price. I think that FEC will start to recover next week as they are making good money and appear oversold. I note Morgan and likely their designated
