Cat's Out Of The Bag

Short numbers must have really jumped on FFN over the last few days.....I've been adding and adding to a short position over the last few weeks - now hard to find shares to short - TD keeps rejecting me

I don't wish any hardship on the holders of the common shares. Having said that, I'm very pleased with the preferred shares

They may pay a dividend, if the market is up when they make the annoucement shorts will have to cover big time LOL

If you're waiting for a dividend payment announcement tomorrow morning you will be disappointed.

The prospectus is quite clear on the sub-$15 NAV. They have paid a div in the past when the NAV has been hovering just under the mark (DF may pay out this month on todays close rather than last Friday's) but not when the NAV is so far underwater. Also a payment to the commons when the NAV is in the low $14 range would be prejudicial to the interest of the Prefs.

THIS IS TO WARN ALL THE SHORTS, THE PROTECTION TO THE PREFFEREDS DIMINSHES BY THE ENSUING SELLOFF TO THE COMMON SHARES....  THEY MAY PAY A DIVIDEND TO BOTH

Ha ...Most of the posters here have been around splits for a long time and know facts. This isn't a WallStreetBets board

Most are here to collect dividends, not to short a split fund like you lol.

I haven't heard from one holder of FFN on this board for weeks. I assuming you're just a troll. Maybe some of the silent holders that might still escape will thank us or maybe they won't. GLTA

The commons are a far cry from zero NAV so no worries for the preferreds but the divy for the commons is definitely in question plus even with no divy they pick up the tab for the MER. And maybe you can take your Caps Lock off and stop shouting
