Big day for FFN, UNIT NAV climbed over 15$
So updated the spreadsheet and FFN has gained 75 cents since NOV 30th, and that puts UNIT NAV @ about $15.03. A large part of those gains came today. Who'd a thunk it, friday the 13th!!
At any rate the commons now have a value of $5.03 here today. Slight premium being paid for shares is understandable, and i think it will head higher from here if the market holds up.
Traders have definitely ignored the comments suggesting an impending recession on 2023.

Will quadravest use Jan 13 for NAV calculation?

Quadravest will publish the 13th as midmonth value. Decision day will be the 17 or 18th, so it's up in the air whether it will pay. S&P 500 just popped over its 200 day moving average, and the last few times it did that, straight down it went.

Yes, I should be... only if it is close to the $15 NAV will they delay call if there is a chance it will pay. mNm

Unless you go by what they've done in the past. January 2019 FFN paid even though the midmonth number was below 15. April 2020 BK skipped the dividends even though the midmonth was above 15.

FFN holders mainly need to hope the S&P500 goes up tomorrow. This includes me, because I bought in today.

Hahaha, vague ground rules! monthly dividends may be declared at any time using any NAV, as long as it is before the TSX deadline (five trading days before record date).
