NAV Valentine's Day

~$14.75. Discount on capital shares: ~$0.54. We need to make up ~1.74% in two days to guarantee a dividend payment, but I bet Quadravest will give us some extra time next week if it allows us to get there. It was quite a dramatic recovery off Tuesday's lows.

PPI inflation data will be released on Friday at 8:30 am, but this is nowhere near as important as the CPI data released on Tuesday morning. It will likely be a muted event.

Nice bump in bank stock this morning! It would be nice to have another update later today if you can. I would not have bet on that Tuesday, but we're probably getting close to payment threshold?

Of course, that's what I meant. But if they can choose between a date when the NAV is above threshold and another when it's not, what will they do and why?

It is in Quadravest's interests to increase interest in their funds and ensure they remain attractive. This only happens, in general, when dividends are paid out as this is the main reason most retail investors buy these split shares. Most importantly, when these shares trade at a premium, Quadravest can issue new shares at a premium and that both increases assets under management (and ...more

Thanks a lot, that makes sense :)
