Question about ex-div

Question: Im with CIBC, so last day to buy the stock to receive the divident, will be june 26?
Comment by AnEducator on Jun 22, 2024 8:54pm
The ex-dividend date for CIBC shares is June 28th, so you need to purchase the shares by Thursday, June 27th in order to qualify for the dividend.

Sorry, I misunderstood your question. If you are talking about receiving a dividend for FFN, the ex-dividend date is June 28th, so you must purchase shares by June 27th in order to qualify for the next dividend.

Thank you for your response, it was indeed the last date that I can buy the stock to receive the dividends. Thank you so much.
