Jack Haze

So I have been trying other LPs just to solidify my trust in my investment with Supreme and I have to say that they are killing it, the Jack Haze is amazing and still one of the best legal products and same goes for the Sensi Star and Jean Guy!! They are the most consistent when it comes to bud size, smell, feel and taste! Keep up the good work!!

Seriously right!! If you want to get really medicated you buy 7Acres, Redecan is good value for what you get but they are private so it doesn't matter,l! I really hope they come out with Khalifa Kush through KKE or however they bring it, that's one of the most popular strains in the states , I'm sure it would be HUGE here as well!! GLTA

could have bought $5000 in bonds and saved a few sheckles while getting a nice interest payment every 6 months of $150 on your investment of $1345. Use your interest to buy 12.5 grams of Haze every 6 months. If the company is still around next October you get $5000 but no more interest payments.  Don't worry, you can still do it tomorrow.   Does this math make ...more

I think the debentures would trade up on a financing. The bigger the better. At the worst, it just contributes to the recovery value and at best they start buying debentures back in one form or another.  If I was on the BOD, I would be recommending $10m equity issue at say 30 cents with like a 6 month warrant at 40 cents to make it more attractive. I would use the proceeds for a SIB on the ...more

Playing along with your game -  you have Mmcap with the majority of debentures and under a SIB they would be purchased at a significant discount to par. Unlikely mmcap sells into that. Unlikely they would be able to make a dent that is significant in any way to reducing debenture. Doesn't look like it's happening anyways.  Handing debenture holders shares at .30 is useless for ...more

I wasn't suggesting "handing" debenture holders any shares. I don't want any personally. I was suggesting bought deal financings and an SIB. I don't know what MM is doing but bidding for $10m of your debentures when they trade at 27 cents and not getting a full fill at 50 cents would be bullish from a reflexivity stand point.  Why do you think the last three ...more

What's the point of a bought deal financing at .30 cents and SIB.  the moment you do a SIB the debentures will trade way higher and you don't know if it will be successful in buying a significant amount of debentures -  yes you get the cash - but it's at a low price and causes dilution.  In the end you need to clear the debentures - all of them - not just a ...more

I'm not sure how clear that is. I thought it would be easier to respond to each point but I wrote so much that I had to do it twice because my browser messed up while I was checking it and I had start again. No proofread the second time so feel free to ask about anything that doesn't make sense. It actually might not make sense.  All my messages are sent with peace and love. I ...more

I think we must just have drastically different probability estimates for each potential outcome. Like I can't imagine the outcome where the equity outperforms the debentures through to when the debentures mature so I don't attribute any value to it in my expected value calculation. While for you, it must be your highest probability case by a giant margin. Like you said, if you are wrong ...more

You make a logical argument - and I have agreed in the past that I should probably own some debentures given Im so bullish on fire - or some ratio of debenture to equity given my own probability of outcomes.  Here is the rub for this company in general - set aside debenture/equity. Aside from all the misgivings in previous quarters as well.  They have excellent products with great ...more

Can we agree that the point of irrelevance is where the returns on the equity far outweigh the returns on the debenture enough to account for the additional risk? If so, what level of cash flows do you see that as being where we are indifferent being in the bonds vs the stock without accounting for the additional risk? It's a good starting point for the first question. You are still ahead on ...more

but if one is limited on their contribution room would they not want to go for an investment vehicle that would give them the highest potential return on that investment? I am not saying method 400% return is not a good return.... but what happens if Supreme's equity eclipses that 400% holding in a TFSA would be that much more adventageous no? Again all depends on people's risk profiles ...more

Question wasn't directed at me but I can answer: Debentures can be purchased under TFSA and RRSP.  Ineterest earned will be paid to the respective accounts the debentures are held in.  In the case of the TFSA, all interest earned will be tax free.  In the case with RRSP, interest earned will be taxed accoridingly upon withdraw from RRSP. I purchased in on debenture deals in ...more

selective reading again Brent.... All i was trying to say is Dividend, interest, and capital gains are not taxed as long as the assets are held inside the TFSA.....
Comment by theTransporter on Jun 18, 2020 12:16pm
I have purcahsed debentures that pay interest revenue and even have come with warrants which all are protected from taxation under the TFSA umbrella.  So long as the $$ you purchase the investment with does not exceed your allowable limit within the TFSA, what you get in return for that investment is all under the TFSA ubmrella. My broker has confirmed this and so has my professional income ...more
