Much appreciated WB, this is what every SH needs to see and understand well...while FIRE is the premium diamond in the rough we missed our opportunity to the big time on our own a few years back as we spent too much time on the B2B med focus and we should have been building out on the rec side and been ready for legalization.....that said, the quality built into the facility, product lines from ...more

Nobody is questioning why WEED purcahased FIRE.  The issue here is for the amount that Beena let this go for.  She fu.cked everyone by accepting a $435M valuation.  She fu.cked up everyone by helping manipulate the price to keep it supressed to be able to get away with that valuation.  She fu.cked up everyone by unecessarily raising $90M in cash and diluting the fu.ck out of ...more

There is not another similar  LP that WEED would pay anywhere near this kind of money for Trans, all they have to do is wait, and not long, and they will have their pick...the only thing they won.t find is anywhere near the value of FIRE. Because we are the pick of the litter today doesn't mean we can survive and do better by any material measure going forward...but we can and will do a ...more

You’re absolutely right.  I watched the full interview and I agree with beena.  Their focus was on cost cutting measures and the domestic market.  Tells me she knew with their balance sheet and strong product line it was in the best interest of the company at the time.  The raises (and I still believe to be the case ) were to add a healthy cash position for m&a and ...more

its a lousy deal.. be interesting to know when talks started with canopy.. and look at cash raises.. which reduced shareholders equity and increased share count for manipulation. if this deal was rejected who cares if price drops to low 20s.. you only need to sell before hand..high 30s..buy back in for half the price.. keep remaining cash.. jmho cheers

vulcan I agree, i took alot of heat here when I challanged the raises and dilution, just a bad deal for long shareholders
Comment by aurorahigh on Apr 26, 2021 6:03pm
No it’s not a lousy deal but hey I respect all opinions.  But really??  I’ve followed this sector since early 2017 and that word ‘manipulation’ gets thrown around a lot with pretty much every company. All companies entertain possible m&a as the industry evolves.  Especially moreso now.   Beena alluded to it during interview about maintaining market share and presence as ...more

Agreed aur, while reminiscent of the early .com days at least we know and understand the product, plus the business and Supreme is and has been a winner, which makes it much easier. Only months ago WEED would have been probably the last pot co that i would have wanted see buying FIRE but it is a totally different company today, with changes at the top and to a new positive direction. FIRE has ...more

I've been reserving judgement until we heard from Beena and now that she has spoken - I get it.  She must have mentioned USA about 100 times.... and it seems like that's where all the investment and focus is now. Canada has gotten really tough with covid, ogi and aphria revenues were downright frightening - and we may be in for some shock come mid may. BUT - Supreme now has ...more

Good to hear joh respected voices of support are what is needed, be a shame to see it fail for the wrong reasons. Weed is expanding in the US and it sounds like they are lining up what ever they need to take some share in the market sooner rather than later. Beena will be pretty busy up here for a while...who knows what hat/ hats she will be wearing in WEED but there is a lot to do with getting ...more

I wouldn't doubt that either vulc, Beena would be derelict in her duties not to be on top of all angles/ faciets of the operation and the best possible sale price is as important, even moreso as we can see now with the US coming on line and the global market place ramping up. She is saying that they are just not able to make the progress necessary to survive on our own growth plan today and ...more

While I look at this I have to say, it is in no way intended to be an attack on you vulc....you have been a loyal supporter of this company for a long time and whatever path you decide for you I will respect and wish you nothing but the very best, my friend. JMHO...Opt

Remember she got her options at .31 cents so she is making a little profit don 't you think. Does not matter in the long run the people that get hurt the most are always the honest people. But you know what I beleive in Karma and I hope it comes back and bite there FFFFFFF AAAASSSSS off. Guess that old saying nice guys finished last is true on this deal.
