Weekly trend reversal coming

Been trending down since April... MACD finally ready to cross on the Weekly chart. With the earnings report coming that should do it, and we should see an uptrend over the next quarter or two. You'll see these bashing shorties cover soon and buy and sart pumping. Bought another 10K at this level. WeedMD as well.

Lol, you guys.. nobody’s making nothing and another loss on the books isn’t going to help, as long as acmpr personal production licenses are around the industry is at its heights already. If your hoping edibles is your gem, your wrong, maybe putting pennies more in revenue with the capex of startup crippling. Keep flying your kite thinking this will take off LOL!

the industry is far form its heights...... this has only just begun..... legalization only happened a year ago..... as acceptance increases, as ON get off their fat Ford rear end (and BC), and as US move to legaliation and well the rest of the world..... do you not see more growht to come?
Comment by watchmeplz on Sep 13, 2019 4:19pm
Begun? Your lost, if you think this market hasn’t been active for years prior to legalization, and not just talking about extreme black market hiding out in the hills growing. I would consider 2001 the beginning of the current landscape, when all someone needed was a doctors note to produce, the government didn’t want this, they got litigated into the position their in. Also, if you read up on ...more

I fully understand that the 'market' has been around for years,,,,,, but i would be talking about companies under new regulations and that can be traded. holistically speaking, yes the market will find a certain equilibirum and there will be plenty of failures. I am a full believer that we are going to run into a major oversupply in cannabis..... but we have to start to understand that not ...more

I guess you believe everything anyone tells you? Sounds like the analyst comment.. I rarely see a correct analyst of any equity usually hindsight. I got some investments for ya :) lol  I’ll believe the positive ebitda when I see it, those are some huge hopes and guesses. The reason it’s hard for a LP to produce top notch product is because you need to cold cure, dry hand trim product which ...more

I apologize I forgot to add, the lead time it takes cannabis to hit the consumer is far to long to have ‘high quality’, period. Cannabis is perishable and by the time LPs produce the cannabis, pack it, label it, get cannabis tax stamp, lab test it, send it to provincial warehouses, send it to the retailer, then finally into a retail customers hands, all that’s left is dust or yellow old product ...more

You are not completely wet here watch, as the black market needs to be cleaned up and the roll out of retail needs to get up to speed and in Ont as md mentioned which is a large portion of the market. The acmpr licensing is a non issue as long as the government does their job in screening applicants and holding everyone to the same standard...the value in the opportunity for access to the market ...more

Your right, Ontario is a huge percentage of the overall market, the largest in fact. Your wrong though about acmpr personal production licenses. Those combined with older grandfathered MMAR licenses means there is 30,000+ other competitors right now that don’t have the same stipulations as the LPs. All you need is a doctors note and your good for 500+ plants x 4 licenses at 1 address = 2000 ...more

I understood the limit was 5plants (4indoors+ 1outdoors) per household watch, which is easily said but most will be lucky to grow anything that they will want to smoke. Agreed, potentially a significant problem but is a law enforcement issue and they need to get up to speed in enforcing all of the illegal cannabis sales and production. Fowler has said that ~80% of the cannabis consumption in ...more

Your understanding is a recreational only view which is 4 plants allowance to any Canadian. There is a whole other class that has been operating under medicinal laws growing LEGALLY selling to the black market which has not and can not be enforced due to the litigated position the federal government was put in since 2001. There’s 30,000+ licenses issued and the reason why the market is fully ...more

I was not aware of this level/ avenue of production watch. I have been whining about these black market on-line sites that continue to openly sell uninspected product with impunity....illegal activities are a law enforcement responsibility and need to be dealt with as such. My understanding was that they were allowing the black market to continue to a degree that would not create a vacuum while ...more

I have an observation Op, You said you were still a kid at the end of the alcohol prohibition. May I ask witch one? The american one that ended in 1933 (from 1920-1933) or the canadian one that ended in 1920 (from 1918-1920)? Best case scenario I would say the american one that ended in 1933, so if you were still a kid lets say 4 years old that make you approx 86 years old!!! Congratulation ...more

I know you didn’t mention it but FYI, this is nothing like prohibition and not even remotely similar to alcohol in anyway other than a legal age to have it in your possession. Health Canada got litigated into having acmpr personal possession licenses, the law of  precedence won’t allow this to be reversed, it already happened, hense the 2013 allard case. There’s approximately 3 million kgs of ...more

Irregardless of these personal 'ACMPR patient growing' licences you are talking about these small growers would need to package their goods , make labels, deal with logistics , health Canada testing/rules etc. just to get in the front door of brick and mortar and provincially online. This is no different then any competitive/ popular industry. I can't make my own clothes I buy them ...more

I gave you scale, 3 Million KGS every 3months on average not included unlicensed, illegal grows which is probably another 25% on top. Not a small number at all. A single location with 2000 plants (4 licenses x 500 plants per license)on average would produce approx. 2500 lbs a year. There is no testing, no security, no packaging requirements for any of these facilities as originally meant for ...more

I'm talking about scaling a business. Your talking about a bunch of ACMPR patients growing weed for medicinal purposes , edibles and maybe for their friends which sure could be for sale but not related to who is buying recreational weed in Canada it's being bought at storefront brick and mortar and online via provincial entities.  Your talking about two very different marketplaces ...more

Lol, oh man you guys are thick, this is your last shot.  The acmpr personal production licenses are doing far more than growing for a buddy or two. I gave you the stats of how much a average acmpr facility can produce, 2500 lbs a year is far from small, some of the LPs don’t even produce that qty. this product has been fueling the black market stores and streets since they started popping up ...more

You haven't backed any of your 'comments' with any data that is quantifiable. These are your own 'theories' and 'projections'. Your trying to group a global marketplace into one small piece of the industry.  The medical industry has been around for a long time, I agree with that. Again these are two very different marketplaces that you are making inferences too ...more

Southybird - Intersting how he is exclusivly only promoting his "theory" on FIRE's stockhouse board, and not on any other of the LP's stockboard considering the problem he is trying to promote isn't limited to affecting Supreme as it's, in his opinion, an industry wide issue. Obviously the fact that he exclusively posts here is clear evidence of ulterior motives.

I only posted straight FACTS and it’s because I hate hearing this pump fluff to sucker people in when they need the facts and reality of the situation their in.  My only opinion in my entire thread was John Conroy will win the upcoming case on allowing acmpr facilities to continue to operate how they have been and continue supplying black market dispensaries. Prohibition is prohibition whether alcohol or MJ watch, it is the black market that continues after the prohibition that is the issue...they were still dealing with the alcohol black market 30+ years after. The acmpr licenses issued for the up to 500plants needs to meet the same criteria as the LPs and that is what I have inquired about with HC, like they have to have the product inspected and ...more

I was refering to the black market that continues after prohibition RG, which was still going on in the 50's and 60's. I have a little ways to go to hit 86 but it is definately in my plans but whether it is in the cards or not is the question? I don't see FIRE taking years to show substantial gains, as gains are directly tied to sales/revenue and we are just starting to see those ...more
