Cobalt fair alliance

Cobalt fair alliance Tesla recently joined the relative new group cobalt fair alliance ....wonderful ....but previously Tesla spurred rumours of taking cobalt out of thier batteries as a way to give perception of and not particpate in the devastating cobalt mining situation in the DRC ....but then they go and join this so called alliance to improve conditions of those mining cobalt by hand and with considerable child labor support....sorry not adding up.

and then there are some who spew this BS Considering the battery represents 40% of the value of an electric car, the difference between those two scenarios is huge,” says Peter Carlsson, CEO of Northvolt AB, which is building a production facility in northern Sweden and planning a second with Volkswagen AG in Germany.

40 % Of the value of the car ? With a reported 15 lbs of cobalt in the planned batteries there is something wrong with the picture ....and I say  Total horse/bull manure.....but this spin is tossed out there as well

cobalt is here to stay and they ( all alliance members) all know it and so do the car / battery manufactuers.
