RE:RE:LG Energy Solution Partners with Three Canadian Suppliers If there is teeth in the IRA, no hope in h-ll DRC cobalt is compliant ....glencore would know it ...but they will be out lobbying to somehow fit in on rationale they will create. But at same time they won't want to miss out on what's gonna happen and would look good with Canadian or American sources? Are they talking to FT?
Also At same time Elbm can't be Ignorant of this potential going forward ...at this point might they have enough Canadian or American sources to fulfill obligations? Will they be seeking JVs with others ...can we fill or fit in a void?
seems odd to reference to only three years ....with investment now FT could be producing in three? Gotta be more going on here in sidelines and what ever it is we can only hope RG is at the table with them or thier competition.
Nico is permitted and can near take that to the bank on its own cause what else is out there ready to go.
I am sceptical that even JRV cobalt sulphate, American concentrate processed in Brazil will cut it - in spite of .08 we look good lol
"Electra will supply LG Energy with 7,000 tonnes of battery-grade cobalt from 2023 to 2025 sourced from the only cobalt sulphate refinery in North America, which is located in Temiskaming Shores near the Sudbury Nickel Basin."
"Electra and LG Energy have also agreed to collaborate on new opportunities within North America’s electric vehicle supply chain, including securing sustainable sources of raw materials."
