Best lace in the world for a chance to see northern lights but not at a luncheon lol ..maybe when he leaves Tuk .. I doubt they be looking at the 30 yo FOL facility that is hardly used but will be putting canada on notice for more money on defence.  DND is building a new facility some 80 million being spent in yk. on the other hand maybe CMs will come up lol ... can only hope.

The German President wanted to see a 200 million dollar road to nowhere. He wanted to see it with his own two eyes. We cant blame him. Then he is going to visit with the principals of LRC at their head office with Mr Romaniuk. After that he is going to visit the Gore membrane facility at 704 Philipston road. After all that he will elect to get a craniotomy.

I think that the road is equivalent to $1.5 m per family there.  Good deal.

Peanuts compared to what we will be giving VW to make what could be the largest battery plant in the world to be built in Ontario .... which will amount to billions.  there is not enough cobalt in NA .... right now to support that plant ... I think key words are ... right now... it's gonna take a national and maybe cross boarder collaboration to do it, the feds know the inventory and ...more

Cobalt is currently produced from many nickel copper deposits, like those in Sudbury and Minnesota. The Ring of Fire might never be touched, but could also provide cobalt. Nico is unique but not special.  Except for Fortune shareholders, no one woukd notice Nico production.
Comment by Allman on Apr 22, 2023 10:09am
If Dumont launches, they would produce 1.5 ktpa cobalt (ave over initial seven years), NICO would produce 1.8 ktpa (assuming reserves and production aren't increased), Glencore and Vale based on recent numbers, 1.1 and 2.6 ktpa respectively. NICO cobalt production would be in the order of 25.7% of all cobalt mined in Canada - not exactly an unnoticeable output.

I should have said that the NWT would notice, as would the Tli Cho.
