From the past

From the past

I won't dwell on technical analysis too long. But my June 16 post:

From a technical analysis standpoint, there are bearish signals mixed-in with bullish indicators. Rather surprising. The weekly OBV is still ok. The same idea as another stock pick, PRD Energy, although the fundamentals of PRD are stronger. Futura's Accumulation/Distribution indicator is poor, and all others remain in extreme territory. I'm relying on one or two indicators, which is risky. (The indicators are not all on the same page in other words).

PRD was 32 cents June 16th, now 54 cents. I felt Futura had the same technical signals despite the rollback rumours. But that's hard to phantom given the lacklustre performance of the stock since then. Yet I still hang on. It's not because I'm losing money, but because I believe in chart analysis and successes from the past.

But maybe Futura is different and I misinterpreted something bigtime. Will give it to the end of this year for Futura to prove itself.
