But I think, as a last ditch effort, management should go talk with reps from Aeroplan. Discuss what has happened and why. Can things be salvaged or is everything going to the scrap metal heap. Aeroplan mile issuance was not as expected in the car dealership business. This is a key stumbling block to Futura's long-term expansion plans. Also, if it doesn't work in Canada, it won't work elsewhere
Maybe come up with ways to improve marketing by car dealers and why for example car dealers in close proximity should all have, and benefit from the Aeroplan program. Aeroplan has recently concluded the nationwide Infiniti dealership 60,000 Aeroplan mile promotion. How did that go? Is there room for growth.
In any event, is it already too late for Futura?
As a side issue, is Air Miles having success with their car dealership sign-ups?
