What’s taking so long?

I'm a believer in this one but I have to admit the wait is painful. If you look at the graph of the s/p over the last month, it's not very appetizing. This one has the potential to be huge but it's not for the weak and nervous nelleys out there. All we need is one more bonanza hole and then we are off to the moon. If the results are poor then the reverse of course. The questions have here is why not an update ??? News on 2nd drill rig! Explanation on delays! Winter camp set up! Anything would be appreciated. As far as I'm concerned they owe that at least to there loyal shareholders. We have watched the s/p drop day after day with no help from the management of Freegold. I realize we are in unprecedented times but would it hurt to at least keep your share holders informed!!!!
I have to believe that results are just around the corner. I hope so because the wait on this is now becoming very very frustrating. I don't want a Friday release. Hate Friday news. Usually bad, so I am hoping next week is the week. We shall see but once again hold your ground and cross your fingers.

Reachme ..... my guess is you have not been trading for a long period of time. All I was stating, and investors who have been trading for a long period of time will agree, most bad news releases come out on a Friday. I have been trading now for well over 25 years and have yet to see one of my stocks that I have been invested in put out a good news release on a Friday. Just speaking from experience

Management stated in their last PR all we need to know. They said there were very long delays at the labs as have other companies.  When the resumed drilling back in June 15, they had 1 rig. They finished off the GDS2002. The pending holes 3,4,5 etc. are deep holes. GDS2002 was released Friday, September 11. They likely got back maybe a hole or two. Every company has a certain number of days

I just wanted to reiterate that patience is needed. All we're doing now is speculating based on the fact that news haven't been released. At the end of the day.. we don't know. Sometimes overthinking is not a good thing, maybe we just have to accept that a delay is a delay.  GLTA.  I'm requoting one of BlueChipper's excellent post from 2 weeks ago.

I don't think news will help share price right now it's going to be bumty ride until after the Election and gold price start to take off. Look at bnch good news release and price dropped

I am going to make a prediction that we will not see results until after the election. Management can continue to compile results from a significant number of holes (at least 5-6 deep holes, maybe more), which will be sufficient informaition to go into a press release. These results are also coming in very slow like they are for all companies. Some companies are a bit faster depending on the part

One more thing. Management does not have to release results of material news, hole by hole. That could be misleading and harm investors. A company could get 1 hole back which is bad, release a PR and have a sell off. Then have 9 great holes after. Keep in mind, the last GD2002 hole released on September 11, was done so since it was partially completed and not part of the new 10,000M program. It

This rings through with everything nowadays, ordering parts, whatever. Everything is delayed due to Covid, not just assays. It's just a waiting game now.  You are right, overthinking is not a good way to make decisions.
