David Goodfellow own 1,755,067 shares
Douglas Goodfellow own 1,673,968
Stephen Jarislowski own 1,066,498
The 3 of them have 52.70% of the total share not 6 million out of 8.5 million
As for value, yes GDL is and will probably always trade at a deep discount to it's net asset value.
As of last quarter the book value was $21.83
