My opinion on electric vehicles and Palladium’s Future !!!

I live in the US so my comments are mostly on US citizens. I feel Biden and other politicians and big car companies are all making a huge mistake trying to force Americans to purchase all electric vehicles within the next 15 years. Have any of them ever talked to some average Americans on the subject of electric vehicles? Yes, maybe 10% of Americans will embrace electric cars. But the other 90% will want nothing to do with them. Only about 60% of Americans have gotten the covid vaccine which is something that can save their life within the next year. Do the politicians and big car companies really think people will buy inconvenient electric cars to Maybe extrend life on Earth a few years?
Bottom line, North Americans want convenient, trust worthy gas powered cars. Hybrids Electric cars   might have a future but all electric cars are just considered Toy's in the USA. The car companies will eventually have to take note of consumer demand and rethink going all electric in 2035. The need for Palladium is going to be very strong in the future. I can see emissions standards becoming stricter in the future. I would love to hear other average people's opinions on the subject.

Not sure how you can speak for the future attitudes of americans in this way because attitudes do change, even in the US.  Concern about climate change is increasing and people are going to question their diet and their fossil fuel consumption, but I doubt this issue will increase demand for electric vehicles on its own. What will change their attitudes?  Reliability and economy and ...more

I agree with you today but if in the next 15 years they manage to get an ev to charge in 5-10 minutes from empty rhen they can use the existing infrastructure from big oil gas station to install charging stations on their sites. The key is getting a battery that big to charge in the same time it takes to fill up. Personally palladium can go to 0 in 15 years and I wouldn't care. Genm would have ...more

I too think palladium will go to poop in 2030s but we'll get our market cap up plenty before then. I see households in northern communities in Canada maybe having one EV and one ICE being a new normal in 5y-8yrs. And Copper could be 6/7$ in 2-3 yrs.  Not a bad day today. With more closures in SA, chip shortage getting better and the major milestones to be reached we are going to be ...more

Oh good point on people"s trying too keep what THEY WANT. But they would be going up against the WALL. The government would sneak some kinda mind game upon us. Be it in the pocket or some other means too their way of thought. I think after years of a lack of investment in the O&G sector that gas will just become more expensive. Look at the price of gas in the Netherlands  https:/ ...more

But we are only talking about 1st world countries 2nd and 3rd will need a lot ..ore to catch up so demand for pd might drop in 1st world but not in the other 2

Supertweety, my opinion of the situation is people will buy a electric to supplement their daily driving routines but they will have a gas/hybrid car for any travel that they would deem inconvenient with the current charging infrastructure (I.e roadtrips to places without a good charging network or to travel a great distance as fast as possible.) The major sticking point for EVS are the purchase ...more

Some good points. The great thing about investing in Generation Mining is if I'm totally wrong about electric vehicles, I still make money. it's such a great guaranteed win-win of an investment. One thing nobody can argue is that people love their cars. And always will. Whether they're electric or gas powered GENM has both covered.
