RE:Funny guys

RE:Funny guysYeah limiting the cash in pocket is a great strategy as is the willingness to go there just to kinda hang around the action. An in out is no fun with stakes lost, even with "limited exposure" is no fun and I speak from experience. A social evening with friends easing around the place is a nicer experience for me. Having said that I have yet to set foot in one around here (GTA) post pandemic

Most everything here is owned by GCG and Gateway with Caesars running Windsor I believe. My take is the market is pretty saturated in Ontario now. In fact here some are eliminating table games (as opposed to those never having had them...so slots and machines only to begin with) and Casino Rama, the first one and a destination location with great live shows, has been a basket case since well before the pandemic. Dont think any have closed because there appears to be a clause in the agreements that says the operator can't do so

It's another good reason to like GH vs the others.

I actually first dove in around $12 to secure a 6% yield which I was actually pretty happy with before current inflation :>) . I think I first read about the stock in G&M, not sure, in any event when I looked at it I liked it more and more and I felt the yield was going to be fine and I absolutely loved the share count with so much held by insiders who were experienced operators.

So when it tanked it became a compelling opportunity that was just so supported by fellow posters who were doing the same. When the divy returned, it made sense the price would get back to pre covid levels

Of course as I bought more my cps went nicely down to where it sits now at 7.29 and a smidge under a 9.9% yield (fully restored--half that now) with a suffciently meaningful share count that it will grow back into a nice monthly cash flow into the pot.

So thanks gang for that for sure. I definitely followed your manoeuvres
