RE:RE:Interesting timesWow, a lot of angst here, isn't there? This is a stock, not your first born child. One of the reasons we all invest this way is to have liquidity. if you don't like mgmt, sell and go somewhere else. You put a lot of effort into this, and perhaps it has clouded your ability to be objective.
To address just a few of your comments, the post about the gift of shares not beihg related to the company financials was not yours. Someone commented tha tthey thought somehow that gift had to be reported on the financials, and would therefore produce a loss. Just plain not true.
If they had issued shares that would not have reduced the profit, unless they paid a broker to do it, and then it is only the fees that are tax deductible for the company.
You seem to have this fantasy that the shares are manipulated for some nefarious reason by insiders who control it all. perhaps you believe harry Potter is real as well. if you truly think that, why not just sell and invest elsewhere ?
I think it is much more likely the magic of what graphene could do captured investors attention early on, analysts began covering the company and there was not a lot of liquidity. The shares were pushed higher by investors not understanding the lag time for sales to occur. You got very excited on the last run up to $5, when the company has just done exactly what was promised, not more and not less. Revenues came in at the top end of the forecasts, with a likely increase this current year. We will see when guidance from SN comes out. This is a slow developing business, it has to be because to add graphene to an existing product takes testing, process and evaluation. SN keeps saying that but some think it can somehow be magically sped up.
The good side of all this is that once graphene gets into a product process, it is equally hard for a competitor to try and replace it. The long lead time becomes a barrier to entry once the process is done.
As much as analysts price targets are often incorrect, it is interesting to see the general tone of the coverage, and especially the revenue forecasts and cost estimates. That is mostly what I use that data for. The current market is not kind to small companies. Add to that the possible debt IF a VoltX were to be built, and the current pricing makes sense. I think investor psychology will change in a few quarters, and small companies will be oversoild, and begin to come back again.
A year ago SN guided revenues to $80 million, increased that later to 85, again to 90, and came in just over that. He did what he promised. How can you be angry with that? Committing to VX before the IRA was enacted would have been a big mistake. He waited, likely a smart move. Issuiing equity as he has over the last 2 years was not popular, but today having $45 million plus of free cash looks pretty damn smart.
Personally I will wait to see the 5 year plan, and evaluate whether I continue with this company or not based on that document.
The very best of luck to all
