this trade is there for the taking prior to every quarter, usually good for at least 10%, it sure ads up over the year to a very nice gain as opposed to just holding it. I'll sell 1/3 to 1/2 today and the rest over othe next week.

it's a great stock  but I really don't like what they do and feel at some point some new govt reg. could really damage their ability to continue grossly taking advantage of those unable to get the more traditional loans, imho it's basically legalized loan sharking, that's 1 reason I won't hold it for too long a period of time.

cheers and gl  ferrret.

This comment reaks of hypocracy.  I don't disagree with the fact you are a trader and not an investor.  I even got rid of all my GSY back in February and missed the big dive.   The thiing I don't do is say I am doing it with a company that takes advantage of people by loan sharking.  If you are feeling so guiilty give your profits to charity.  Don't ...more

Borrowers need the money NOW, and GSY is there to help.Nothing like a loan Shark.  Also, as long as ...more

As long term shareholder I agree goeasy provides essential service. If they weren't here than customers would need to go to the mob. Not good option as they use different collection procedures.  Goeasy is great company providing an essential service to society.  As this is obviously a higher risk business they need to charge high rates to make the business viable. Customers ...more
