Last day

I am pretty sure today is the last day to own gear for the dividend so for the life of me I don't understand why anyone would sell today unless it's just market makers that has always been a bone of contention with me with this and other stocks, why would you sell it just before the dividend unless you thought it was going to go down more than what you were going to get for the dividend And then buy it back again??  Hope this soon takes off this on Lucero  are my two worst oil stocks

They bought lower and sell to dividends seeker at a profit.
