H&R Real Estate Investment Trust is a Canada-based real estate investment trust. The Company owns, operates and develops residential and commercial properties across Canada and in the United States. The Company operates through the four segments: Residential, Industrial, Office and Retail. The Residential segment consists of approximately 24 residential properties in select markets in the United States and portfolio comprised of 8,166 residential rental units. The Industrial segment consists of 69 industrial properties in Canada and three properties in the United States comprising 8.7 million square feet. The Office segment consists of 18 properties in Canada and five properties in select markets in the United States, aggregating 5.8 million square feet. H&R Amends Normal Course Issuer Bid to Repurchase for Cancellation up to Additional 10 Million Stapled Units
04:05 PM EDT, 03/14/2018 (MT Newswires) -- H&R Real Estate Investment Trust (HR-UN.TO) shares ended the day at an intra-day high of $20.39 for a slight 0.3% gain, after the trust said Wednesday afternoon before market hours closed that it received final approval from the TSX for the amendment of its normal course issuer bid to increase the number of stapled units that may be repurchased for cancellation from 5 million to 15 million, representing about 5.28% of the public float as of Aug. 1, 2017.

The normal course issuer bid will continue until the earlier of Aug. 14 and the date on which H&R has purchased the maximum number of stapled units.

To date, H&R has completed the purchase for cancellation of about 4.4 million stapled units, at a weighted average price of $20.87 each.
