If They Wanted To Sell The Malls

They should have just sold them off individually along with the other 3.9 billion of "Non-core" assets.. They would have got a lot more for them than selling them as a package in a share buyout. Either the NAV calculations are wrong, and selling the properties will tell you that, or the future rentals rates are really not attractive.

Have to say, if H&Rs spin out strategy was actually going to work it should be working from day one. The fact the combined hsares are selling for the same as pre-split pretty much tells you what the major market players think of the move, and if you think retail investors are driving this then you need to cut back on the Ganja intake.

Give it a few days to see where things settle

Yep, color me impressed with the Leadership at H&R, NOT. Primaris issues at 14.60 and promptly drops over 2 bucks. H&R drops by even more than the spun out value.  All this proves is the special distribution was a joke, and so is this.

I wouldnt get too pessimistic over one trading day, but PMZ.UN looks much more appealing to me at the moment.,  HR will get interesting under $12.50
