Time to Lean Forward

Q1 earnings were solid. The REIT is solid. The fundamentals are solid. The balance sheet is solid. The unit price is sad. Time to lean forward in our seat and run the NCIB.

not running the ncib is shameful on management part. like artis they have tons of canadian assets that could be sold at good prices in this enviornment. not sure what this team is thinking.

Agree, totally. They are letting down unit holders. It's puzzling..... zero insider buying. A policy of phantom distributions that are taxed as income and serve only to increase ACB. The wealth destruction for a REIT with seemingly very high quality assets is shocking.  It was also disturbing to see the unit price crater on the day that the CEO of Lantower left. Is there something that ...more

Yes they literally had a full year to try to go a bit "beyond" their targeted asset sales to raise 100m for a NCIB.  All those asset sales just going to debt, doesnt make sense IMO
