Cash market VS futurs

I am no expert on the lumber industry so can't say what the producers are getting
for their recent sales but if the price they get is closer to the Weekly B.C. lumber prices
then...

Guys like Dosperros and a few others on this board must know if we can rely on these
free web site info. to have a sense of what the mills are receiving.

In any event, being a bad trader, i haven't sold a single share and looking past this correction.
Congrat. to those who made the good call to sell or reduce.They are in great shape for
the next leg up.

I can tell you that SPF cash sales are presently between $1300-$1400 USD right now. These are sales that were booked ~4-6 weeks ago as the mill AMV can lag a bit pending order files. The futures pricing presently remains detached from cash prices. It'll be interesting to see if they reconcile a bit in the coming weeks.
