RE:RE:Monday, monday just love that dayVery good analysis Pablo , As a long term investor , I have been first and foremost attracted by the huge quantity of Canadian heavy crude assets. Ipco has already demonstrated their ability to get these assets out of the ground and IMHO will continue to do so for at an increasing rate for a very long time.
The willingness of management to reduce share count without issuing shares to themselves is very constructive.Particularly important is their follow thru by completing their NCIBs within the allotted time span As cash flow grows we may see more buybacks and even another Dutch Auction
On top of everything else, Ipco is an acquirer of petroleum assets at bargain prices whenever the opportunity arises . In fact most of their growth has come by acquisitions.
Debt is of little concern to Ipco , not only due to their huge assets , but also due to their backing by the Lundin group
Given the above , I have no hesitation in recommending this stock , but as always do your own DD , start with earnings that come, out tomorrow and will be followed shortly by a new presentation
