The LKS offer is NOT good news for share priceYes IPL is valuable. I hold it for that reason. 

However, an offer from CK Holdings is not news. Thats why IPL did not issue a press release. They handled that well now as we see with hindsight. And offer from LKS is as valuable as used toilet paper. Everyone knows this.

Its nice to see the bump in share price but a LKS offer wont hold it there. Especially after the Hucky/MEG deal. Everyone knows they are a time wasting joke with massive regulatory hurdles even if serious.

I am enjoying the paper gain, but without a third party coming in with real offer I see this news as non event. Just like IPL management did.
