RE:Hey LOOSING bogfit, have you sold that SHACK No, but it is available for the right price. You interested? Actually, in truth I fear that its curb appeal isn't very high since there are no curbs or even pavement for 50 miles in any direction. Actually, the isolated location of the shack in the middle of a Great Basin Playa (Pothead -that’s a fancy word for salt flat) tends to discourage most potential buyers.
That’s not to say there aren’t unusual employment opportunities presented by its isolated location, as occasionally some flat-land idiot like yourself gets lost, sees the only structure in the middle of a salt flat 10 miles wide. And seem relieved when I tell them I would be happy to guide them back to the pavement, and while my fee might seem extravagant, I let them decide for themselves if they wish to continue wandering in the wildness instead.
I always take a route that winds through a couple mountain ranges which takes several hours of off-roading instead of the direct route to the highway hidden just behind a low range of hills only 5 miles away, and they were so close too! but I figure they’re getting a “scenic tour” as well as a rescue, and besides by the time they reach “salvation” they’re pretty docile after the beating of numerous jeep trails traveled, and more than happy to pay just about anything just to get back to civilization.
But I digress, you were interested in my shack I believe? LOL
