RE:the webcast should be of interest...I still have theI'll miss the conference call but will listen in later and also appreciate any BB opinions on what is put forward. KL is performing today as expected (and as I had hoped) and a beauty in a class of its own.
Regarding any buyout, I don't see that happening. ES came on as board chair for a reason and he's got 21.5M shares, sitting on a 3 bagger at best for a guy that always looks for 10 baggers....and he sees KL as the exception with "crazy off the charts grades", so ask yourself why he would want to sell to some major. KL won't sell unless ES is on board. A buyout won't provide cash but only trading for shares in some other. What gold miner out there would you prefer to have at this point? KL has far outperformed Barrick, AEM and FNV. I never want to fall in love with a stock but I also need to consider where I would prefer to park my money. The nr tells us a compelling story about just how good KL's assets are so we all need to see what the roadmap looks like. Maybe in a year or two KL will approach its fair value but early days still IMO. Buyouts are fine for those juniors who need cash to further develop but not the case for KL. Patience is required....JMHO.
