RE:Countries are switching to ruble payments, good for GoldNobody really switched; Gazprombank created two accounts one where they take payments from Europe in euros & they convert it internally to rubles. Russia is desperate for western currency & they created this ‘pretend’ payments in rubles. Gazprombank does however have some control over the exchange rate so they can prop up this ruble……I don’t think it will last long.
