I was so surprised the other day when the volume exceeded 4 million..now over 8!! Never seen this before in Knt, and I've followed this stock since its beginning! Somebody knows something!!

Not sure what the rule is but at some volume - % of shares acquired ….10%???; buyer has to declare reason for accumulation. Five million went through today at about 2 o’clock which is not nearly enough for any disclosure. Maybe we will find out soon but personally I think this is an institutional buy for investment purpose only. Another possibility is that KNT is thinking of declaring dividends

I would very much doubt this would be a potential buyout buyer buying.  That's not how they do it.  But a leak is for sure possible.  So many people involved, so hard to keep them all quiet.  It is interesting that it comes quite suddenly and dramatically - so many shares.  But yes, the most likely is that someone or someones just realizing what an incredible buy K92

Yes twelve bucks a share would be a good deal for someone, given the long term potential, but for sure most would take it.  If some company has been bidding the share price down the past month , to try and get a better buyout price, it probably has worked.

K92 has got to be at the top of the M&A list right now. Amazing asset with huge exploration potential. About 1 year(ish) away from 300k oz PA (and eventually 500k PA!), with very little CAPEX spend. Either someone buys now or you pay a LOT more in a years time. Kinross paid more for GBR which will be in production maybe 10 years time. I always thought NCM would be a potential suitor, but with
