Waiting game

Who knows if anything is planned prior to the closing of the merger. The combined company will require prominent listings in the U.S. and Canada along with maybe a name change. A reverse split would ...more

RE:Seriously undervalued

The recent probems with significantly increasing AISC at Westgold is a clear cause for concern despite them putting cause down to rain and mill rproblems. Latter also affected their gold output but ...more

Is it being noticed

When the 2/10 spread was around 4  points, the word was that it was indicative of a not too distant recession. It's been hovering between 3.5 and 4 for what seems like eons. Now, all of a ...more

Another big jump in outstanding shorts

More than 2.4 million shares shorted in first half of May, bringing the total to 6.2 million.  Throughout 2023, the total shorts o/s was typically well under 1 million. It is incomprehensible to ...more

Next stop

Well, AU seems to have held onto its gains overnight. Other metals are following suit. Typically, at approximately 8:30 when gold trading in NY opens, there are pretty good moves up or down. The great ...more

Breakout continues

After the first three hours, gold is up to around 2440. About 20 bucks. WGX.AX response is tepid, up a little. Here's hoping the trend keeps going.
